FAQ

Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are recommended for larger or custom pieces, but walk-ins are always welcome whenever we have availability.

How do I book?

You can book through DM, email, or by stopping by the studio to chat with us in person.

Do you take walk-ins?

Yep — we love walk-ins. Come by anytime and we’ll do our best to fit you in. If you’re travelling from far, feel free to give us a call on our availability before making your travel!

I’m not sure what tattoo I want yet. Can I still come in?

Of course. We’re always happy to chat ideas, placements, styles, and help you figure things out.

Do you tattoo first-timers?

Absolutely. We’ll guide you through the whole process and answer any questions you have.

Is the studio queer-friendly?

Always. We’re committed to creating a safe, respectful, and welcoming space for everyone.

What styles do you do?

Our artists work across a wide range of styles, and we regularly host guest artists from around the world with their own unique specialties.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Get a good night’s sleep, eat beforehand, stay hydrated, and avoid alcohol before your session.

How do I take care of my tattoo?

Your artists will give you A thorough instructions on the aftercare. But here are the general guidelines!

Second Skin

Second Skin is a breathable protective patch that makes healing super easy. Just leave it on for 3–4 days — you can even shower with it (just keep showers shorter and not too hot, since heat can loosen the patch).

It’s totally normal for ink and plasma to collect underneath and form little bubbles, so don’t panic — that’s part of the healing process.

On day 4, gently peel the Second Skin off. It can be a little uncomfortable, but that’s normal too. After that, just apply a small amount of moisturizer or tattoo care cream whenever the skin feels dry, tight, or itchy. Less is more — don’t overdo it.

Healing usually takes around 2–4 weeks. During the first week, avoid swimming pools, saunas, and intense sports if possible.

Cling Film

For larger tattoos, we sometimes use cling film instead of Second Skin. Leave the first wrap on until the evening — if your appointment was later in the day, you can keep it on overnight and change it the next morning.

When removing the wrap, wash the tattoo thoroughly with water and mild soap, then let it air out for a little while. After that, switch to using a light layer of moisturizer or tattoo care cream whenever needed. Again: less is more. Your tattoo may feel tight or itchy while healing, which is completely normal.

Healing usually takes around 2–4 weeks. Avoid swimming pools, saunas, and heavy workouts for at least the first week.

Can I just stop by?

Definitely. Feel free to swing by to say hi, check out artists’ work, browse merch, or see what’s happening in the studio.
